Which app should I choose?
Choose the app where you will paste the result. Each destination uses different formatting, so the same Markdown can produce different output.
Why do the outputs differ?
Some destinations use formatting markers, others accept rich text, and Signal receives clean text. The converter adapts the output to the selected app.
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser — your text is never sent anywhere, stored, or logged. We count anonymous, cookie-free page views and conversion events (event names only — never content, never identifiers) to see which tools are useful.
Does it only work with ChatGPT output?
No — it converts any Markdown. Output from Copilot, Mistral, DeepSeek, Perplexity or any other AI works, and so does Markdown from READMEs, Notion exports, or your own notes. Research citations (footnotes like [^1] with a source list) are converted too.
What happens to tables?
It depends on the destination: rich editors like email and Teams get real tables; chat apps get compact, readable row cards instead of monospace grids that wrap badly on phones.
